White House Pushes New Biofuel Goals

President Barack Obama issued a memorandum Tuesday that requires the Environmental Protection Agency, USDA and Department of Energy to better coordinate efforts to expand the production and use of biofuels beyond corn-based ethanol. These advanced biofuels would need to meet higher greenhouse-gas emissions standards, according to the EPA.
